I am a Cognitive Neuroscientist and work as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience at Suor Orsola Benincasa University (Naples, Italy).
My research
How do we perceive and make sense of the physical world? And how does this shape our minds?
My research explores the cognitive processes behind the perception and interpretation of our surroundings. I investigate the neurocognitive mechanisms that allow us to comprehend and manipulate the physical world. Recently, I have focused on understanding the relationship between cognitive functions and rapidly evolving technologies. To achieve this, I design and conduct advanced behavioral and eye-tracking experiments, integrating them with cutting-edge neuroimaging techniques, such as functional/structural magnetic resonance imaging and high-density electroencephalography.
