About me

Giovanni, thirty-one years old, neuropsychologist, Italian-based in Naples.
PhD student in Experimental Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience (Italy/UK).
B.Sc. in Psychological Sciences and Techniques (Italy). M.Sc. in Cognitive Psychology (Italy). M.Sc. in Psychology of Neurocognitive Processes and Emotional Sciences (France).
My research interests are related to the following general domains: visual cognition, perception, neurobiology, neural correlates of consciousness, artificial intelligence, cognitive computational modelling, memory, embodied cognition, cognitive neuroscience and neuropsychology. In particular, my current research activities are related to human tool use and object semantics and, specifically, to their epistemological foundations as well as their possible applications on artificial intelligence (AI), cognitive ergonomics, interface design (UI) and user experience (UX).
I’m a computer science passionate especially as regards the areas of virtual reality, human-computer interaction, web and software development and cybernetics. I use different kinds of electrophysiology tools (EEG, EDA, EKG) and, recently, Eye Tracking technologies.
